Juxtaposition

In this class i learned about Juxtaposition, what is Juxtaposition? Juxtaposition can be defined as placing two variable, side by side and their contrast or similarity are shown through comparison. Many creative processes rely on juxtaposition. By juxtaposing two objects or words next to each other, human brain will automatically associate or transfer meaning. Usually ‘turning’ something familiar to something less familiar or vice-versa.
In literature and film, juxtaposition is the arrangement of two opposing ideas, characters, objects, etc. side-by-side or in similar narratives for effect. Juxtaposition techniques are used to further develop the storyline or characters - it is applied variously to opposing emotions, abstract concepts, character traits/values, or images...

The Last Song

This is a novel i've read, and i'm trying to make a summary of it for my blog :p
One summer, Ronnie and her brother, Jonah, went to visit their Dad in Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina. Jonah is all excited to meet his Dad, while Ronnie is extremely mad because she thought that her Dad left the family for another woman. But then, she meet Blaze, who introduced her to Marcus, Blaze's cruel boyfriend, that have a big interest in Ronnie. Ronnie also met a really handsome beach volleyball player, Will Blakelee. Her Summer just got better and better until she finally discovered the main reason her mom sent her to visit her Dad.

Method of creative thinking

In this class they explained to us more about how to make a mind map what is it for etc. but first they explained to us about creativity as a process of divergent thinking that is followed by convergent thinking, and all of those things involves brain storming, everything needs a perfect planning to make a perfect result, even when we're making a mind map we need to do some brain storming first to know what or how will it end up.
Mind mapping is introduced by Tony Buzan, this is a great tool for idea generation and brainstorming. It enhance both sides of the human brain and widely used in taking notes, research or generating new ideas. A creative Mind Map is able to stimulate and create interest to the individual and also to the viewer.

i've choosen this quote for my last assignment on alpha. i think this quote explains to us that womens doesn't match up, i think it is more because womens usually becomes ignorance when they are listening to musics, they ignore they're surroundings..
And as a final task, my lecturers told me to make a poster of it

But in this poster i define this quote more to how womens shouldnt be dated by music because they need something more than just music.. :D

Novelty, Creativity, Innovation and Invention.

3 points in one class, the first thing is about novelty, it is a perception of something as being new by an individual or something that is new for all humanity in its development through ages.
The second point is creativity, it is the process of generating something new that has value or recombine existing ideas in a unique way.
Finaly innovation and inventions, Innovation is the process of making improvements by introducing something new, the realization of a creative idea in a social context, while inventions are the things that they discover while innovating, thats why inventors are the ones that takes the existing knowledge and create new ideas.

Defining Creativity

What i've learned in this class is that creativity is the ability to think up and design new inventions, produce works of art, solve problems in new ways, or develop an idea based on an original, novel, or unconventional approach.
But i another way, creativity could be defined as an ability to imagine or invent something new, an attitude to accept changes that is ahppening around us with a flexible outlook, and as a process that continuously improves with new ideas and solutions.
